: : Hi There,
: : I'm sure this is a silly question but I am having trouble creating new drawers. I can't remember ever having this problem on my real Amiga.
: : I use Kickstart 1.3 and WB1.3 emulating an A500 with Harddrive. I installed WB and Extra's on this Harddrive (I use a Directory because I can't get a Hardfile to work either?)
: : Everything works fine, exept that whenever I create a new drawer, or copy an existing one and then rename it, and I then close the window and reopen it, the drawer is gone. Checking with Shell both the drawer and the .info file for the drawer exist. It's simply not visible on the Workbench.
: : Does anybody know what this might be or what I am doing wrong?
: : LPent
: Yes, this is a problem with filesystem emulation. In the directory you created the new directory in there is a file named ".info". Delete it from the shell and reload the directory, then all the new icons will appear.
: In order to use hardfiles with Kick 1.3, you need to copy the FastFileSystem from your Workbench ADF to the WinUAE directory and add the file name to the ROM page of the WinUAE settings.
: Bye,
: Thomas
