Welcome to the Black Linux site. The goal of this page is to provide information regarding the port of Linux OS to the NeXT black hardware. Since the purchase of NeXT Corporation by Apple Computer and the incorporation of OpenStep/NeXTStep into Apple's modern OS, OS X, there have been no plans for upgrades to the Openstep/NeXTStep software. Some of us desire a more modern OS for our black hardware. We hope to see it born here.
