AmigaOS 3.5 Installation

1. Is your system ready for the AmigaOS 3.5 update?

If you have an

A1200 HD
A3000/T
A4000 Desktop
A4000 Tower

you will only need a CD-ROM drive and a little bit more memory if you do not already have 4 MB of Fast RAM. All earlier Amiga models must have an 68020 CPU and at least 1MB Chip and 4 MB Fast RAM. You also need a hard disk and a CD-ROM drive.

Attention:

To update AmigaOS you must have Workbench 3.1 installed on your hard disk. Beside that your Amiga must be equipped with a Kickstart-ROM 3.1. If you have an older version of Workbench installed, you need to install Workbench 3.1 which you will find on the OS CD before installing AmigaOS 3.5.
